Synk is an innovation-driven startup tackling one of Sweden’s growing challenges—how to help highly skilled international professionals integrate smoothly into Swedish work culture. We believe that successful integration goes beyond learning a language. It’s about understanding workplace norms, building confidence, and fostering a true sense of belonging. By helping internationals transition faster and more effectively, we also contribute to solving the issue of “brain waste” — ensuring that global talent is recognized, utilized, and empowered to thrive in Sweden.

We aim to empower 10,000 highly skilled internationals in Sweden to achieve faster, smoother, and more confident professional integration through immersive VR learning that blends language, work culture, and community networking. We envision a future where universities, municipalities, and employers adopt Synk as a standard onboarding and training tool, reducing integration time by 30%, strengthening cross-cultural collaboration, and unlocking the full potential of global talent. Our ultimate goal: a Sweden where diversity is not just welcomed — it’s seamlessly integrated and celebrated.

Meet our team

Synk was born from a shared experience—four international students at KTH Royal Institute of Technology who faced similar challenges navigating Swedish professional life.

While studying in the Technology-Based Entrepreneurship master’s program, we decided to turn our experiences into action. What started as a class project quickly grew into a mission: to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity through technology and empathy.

Our team combines diverse cultural and professional backgrounds—in engineering, design, and business—united by one purpose: helping others integrate faster and feel at home in Sweden.
